Speech Therapy
Our dedicated team uses evidence-based techniques to improve speech clarity and sound production for each child. We create a supportive environment tailored to their individual needs, allowing them to practice their skills comfortably.
Language Therapy
We help children expand their vocabulary and improve their sentence structure to communicate more effectively. We also focus on enhancing their understanding of verbal instructions, which allows them to engage more effectively with their environment.
Social & Play Skills
Our therapy focuses on essential skills such as turn-taking, sharing, and engaging in conversation through fun activities. We help children navigate social situations, understand nonverbal cues, and build meaningful connections with their peers.
About Our Team
Growing Words was founded by Margot Perez, a bilingual speech-language pathologist with deep roots in both public schools and private practice. Our team is a thriving mix of dedicated speech-language pathologists, supportive speech-language pathologist assistants, and a caring office manager, all cultivating an environment where communication skills can truly blossom.

We provide services in various settings, including our welcoming clinic, in-home sessions, and community-based support. We proudly serve the Inland Empire, encompassing San Bernardino and Riverside counties, while also offering telehealth services to children throughout California. Our goal is to make effective speech and language therapy accessible to every child, regardless of their location.
Step 1
Schedule a Consultation: Contact us to set up an initial consultation, where we’ll discuss your child’s communication needs and answer any questions you may have about our services.
Step 2
Complete the Intake Process: After the consultation, we’ll provide intake forms and assessments to gather detailed information, which helps us create a personalized therapy plan.
Step 3
Start Personalized Therapy: With the intake complete, we’ll begin tailored therapy sessions that use engaging, play-based activities to support your child’s communication development from day one.
Insurance & Billing
We are currently working to become in-network providers with multiple insurance companies. In the meantime, we are out-of-network providers and do not bill insurance directly. We offer private pay services and provide a superbill for services rendered, which can be submitted to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement if your plan includes coverage for out-of-network speech and language therapy. We also accept FSA payments to help make our services accessible and convenient.
